An extensive training program of 2200 hours is required in order to graduate from the massage therapy program. Training in anatomy, physiology, pathology and kinesiology as well as clinical and practical instruction is attained.
Registration is then granted upon passing board exams from the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Every therapist is responsible for maintaining their registration through extra curricular courses.
